A1 Team Switzerland is delighted to announce two new partners with FORDAHL-FOQ Group and CP.
FORDAHL-FOQ Group is one of the leading global players in the industry of timing components for telecommunication systems. The group, founded by Nils Engdahl, started its activities in 1980 with two little companies and a few employees in Switzerland and Germany. Currently, it employs some 100 staff members all over the world. Its production facilities in Switzerland and in Germany are the most up-to-date in Europe in their aria.
The timing devices, so-called crystal oscillators, currently are being used in all telecommunication facilities including docking stations for mobile phones and data transmission systems. The expansion of the internet and telecommunications in general led to an increased demand for accurate timing to ensure perfect synchronisation at all levels of telecommunication networks.
As a leading company in its business area, FORDAHL-FOQ aims at communicating at the highest level. For two years, the group's advertising strategy is based on motorsport sponsoring. The synergies are obvious: in both fields, speed and accuracy are key elements.
Therefore, FORDAHL-FOQ has committed to supporting the Swiss A1GP Team and its driver Neel Jani. Both the group and the Swiss team are moving in the fast lane. This results into an ideal image association and thus provides an appropriate medium to reach customers all over the world.
cp eyewear + helmets
Swiss brand cp stands for trendy, innovative and at the same time highly professional manufacturing of sun glasses, goggles and sports helmets. Behind the trend-setting collection is a young design team that has its background in fun sports, fashion and music. The "cp eyewear" label, which was introduced in 2000, has quickly established itself in various countries all over the world. The collections are being produced in Germany and Italy at locations that stand out for know-how and qualify. They are characterised by excellent value for money.
Changing outside conditions like increasing strength of UV-rays, but also increasing demands to the mechanical durability in extreme sports in the snow and in water have led to the transition process of sun glasses from a fashion accessory item to a high-tech tool. cp is presenting a collection of glasses that meets every requirement: glasses of high-quality polycarbonate that provide 100 percent protection from UV-rays thanks to its elaborate multi-layer technology and colouring technique, combined with excellent viewing comfort, while also providing stylish looks up to the latest standard.
With their up-to-date layering-technology and clever ventilation systems, cp goggles are functional for all kinds of use, even in challenging weather conditions. The standard programme includes protection from UV-rays and mist due to breath, fog or water with its double-layer glass that continuously adapts to the current intensity of light. Moreover, the spherical glass provides a perfect panoramic view.
In the area of sports helmets, cp has not only taken up the challenge of providing the highest level of protection and comfort while keeping the weight as low as possible, but also meeting demands in terms of looks and fashion. As a trendy accessory, the helmets are a hit with young and very young, but also with somewhat more experienced users.
Being a Swiss brand, cp is proud to be able to supply a Swiss world championship winning team with glasses. For Claudius Pfister, the founder of the brand cp and a passionate Motorsport fan, the excitement is particularly huge.
