Acuras test early at Sebring

NEW ACURAS READY FOR WINTER TEST DEBUT

Acura was getting a bit of a head start for the American Le Mans Series' fourth annual Winter Test at Sebring International Raceway on Sunday afternoon. Two Acura prototypes got in a little track time as testing continues for the new Acura ARX-01b chassis.

Both Patron Highcroft Racing and Lowe's Fernandez Racing were on the circuit, which will play host to the 56th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida on March 15. Andretti Green Racing, which won in LMP2 at Sebring last year in Acura's American Le Mans Series debut, will join the fray Monday morning along with several other Series prototype and GT teams.

This week's three-day test also will see teams from Audi, Ferrari, Lola, Mazda, Panoz, Peugeot and Porsche prepare themselves for the 12 Hours of Sebring, America's greatest sports car endurance race.
