How do you summarize 1.5 miles and eight turns in less than a minute?
Insanity. Complete chaos. Like a bullring. Feels like it never ends.
That’s Lime Rock Park in just a few words. As difficult as a two-hour, 45-minute race in the American Le Mans Series can be, the job gets that much tougher at Lime Rock. At 1.5 miles and just eight turns around, it’s the shortest track on the ALMS schedule each year and makes traffic even more treacherous to negotiate.

Adding to the ante is that this weekend’s American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix is the first of seven races in a 13-week stretch that will determine this year’s class champions.
