Audi rule Mosport provisional front row

Bowmanville, Ontario, The Audi R8's are provisionally one and two after the first round of qualifying for the Globemegawheels.com Grand Prix of Mosport.

Frank Biela in the number 78 Audi put in a time of 1:08.659 to take the pole. Teammate Rinaldo Capello piloted the number 77 R8 to a 1:08.807 qualifying to fill the provisional front row.

"It looks quite good for us, qualifying is going well, we will have to see tomorrow. The circuit is very fast and quite bumpy, more so than Sears Point. However, we have a good set-up for this type circuit with our experience at Sebring," said provisional pole sitter Frank Biela.

"My second lap was the quickest and then on the next two I ran into a lot of traffic and then decided to come in.
