BAM! (British American Motorsport) will have an international driver lineup for the Petit Le Mans, the penultimate race in the 2004 American Le Mans Series. Leo Hindery, Jr. of New York will drive the No. 43 YES Network Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with two young European racers - two-time ALMS GT co-champion Lucas Luhr of Monaco and Adam Jones of Birmingham, England.

Hindery has enjoyed mentoring young Porsche talent in Le Mans sports-car racing. He shared driving duty with Marc Lieb of Leipzig, Germany in 2003, and celebrated a strong second-place GT finish in the prestigious 24 Heures du Mans. Hindery also introduced Mike Rockenfeller of Neuwied, Germany, to North-American racing at the 2003 Petit Le Mans and watched him set a record GT qualifying lap at the 12 Hours of Sebring this year.

The Sept. 25 Petit Le Mans will be Luhr's fourth race with BAM! and his fifth career start in the 1000-mile, 10-hour race on the 2.54-mile Road Atlanta road course in Braselton, Ga. He won the GT class in 2002 and was also on the class podium in 2000, 2001 and 2003.

As a Porsche factory driver, Luhr's primary focus this season has been the FIA-GT Championship in Europe. Jones is also racing in Europe, in FIA-GT and the Le Mans Endurance Series. Ironically, his LMES co-driver is Sascha Maassen of Raeren, Belgium, Luhr's ALMS GT co-champion and a BAM! driver in three races this year.

Jones excelled in open-wheel racing before switching to sports cars in 2001. He won scholarships to the world's only racing university in Le Mans, France in 1998 and 1999. His success there led to a class title in the 2000 French Formula Three series and a long-term open-wheel contract, but a late sponsor withdrawal knocked him off the fast track. He scored his first win in a Porsche this year, when he and Maassen topped the GT class in an LMES race at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany.

"I can't believe this is happening!" Jones said of his opportunity to drive with BAM!. "I'm so chuffed the way things have panned out. It's a dream come true for me."

Hindery and Jones will participate in a two-day test at Road Atlanta on Sept. 18 and 19. Luhr will join them for the race-week action from Sept. 22 to 25.
