Reds on parade in Valencia
Maranello, 23 november - Tomorrow morning, the Paseo de la Alameda in Valencia will be closed to traffic as it hosts a parade of Ferraris, in the Spanish city for the Finali Mondiali, the event which traditionally brings the curtain down on the racing season and which this year is being staged for the eighteenth time. Opening the parade, which gets underway at noon, along the street that cuts right through the very heart of the city will be Luca Badoer, the official test driver for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, at the wheel of an F60, the sixtieth car built by Ferrari to take part in the Formula 1 World Championship. Following on will be the F430 GT2 of Alvaro Barba, winner of the International GT Open championship and a 599XX driven by Maurizio Mediani, expert car tester with the Prancing Horse. These three drivers will then switch to other cars, respectively a California, a 458 Italia and a 599 HGTE, thus offering a foretaste of what the weekend has in store at Cheste's Ricardo Tormo circuit, located on the outskirts of Valencia. This will be the second consecutive year that the Spanish track hosts this event that brings together the Maranello marque's past and present.
