TEAM ADT CHAMPION RACING - AUDI R8

Cleveland, OH. (June 24, 2004) - After a three-month schedule break, the American Le Mans Series will return to action this weekend with the running of the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio. For the first time since the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in March (ADT Champion Racing finished 2nd), the professional sports car racing series will host round two with a two-hour, 45-minute timed event on Sunday, June 27, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

ADT Champion Racing, which finished third overall at Le Mans and was the highest-finishing team from the ALMS, will seek the overall victory at Mid-Ohio with an Audi R8 Prototype driven by Finland's JJ Lehto and Germany's Marco Werner. Neither has ever driven at Mid-Ohio in a Prototype.

The American Le Mans Series is returning to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after a one-year absence due to scheduling conflicts. The 2.25-mile, 13-turn circuit has been one of the classic road racing venues in North America for many years. CBS Sports will have live coverage of the Mid-Ohio race from 2-4 p.m. (EDT), while MotorsTV will have live flag-to-flag coverage in Europe. The American Le Mans Series Radio Web will have live coverage of the race and of Saturday's qualifying session online at www.americanlemans.com.

Marco Werner (Germany). "Mid-Ohio is a new track for me. I've heard it's quite twisty with lots of hills and corners so it might suit our competitor's cars more. I know the Dyson Team has tested a lot here so I think it's going to be interesting between our car and their car. We'll find out soon!"

JJ Lehto (Finland). "I know this track from when I raced here in 2001 in a BMW M3. I won that race and think I can do the same this weekend in the Audi R8. It's a nice track and I know they've done some surface work to it since I was last here. This is a good track for the Dyson cars, especially since they've recently tested here. It's definitely going to be a tough fight."

AUDI CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED CHAMPION RS 6 TEAM

The dynamic duo of Randy Pobst and Michael Galati, drivers for the Audi Certified Pre-owned Champion RS 6 Team, are set to continue their winning streak this weekend at Mid-Ohio.

The SPEED World Challenge will make its third-consecutive appearance at Mid-Ohio, although only Touring Car appeared in 2003. Five-time series Champion and North Olmsted, Ohio resident Michael Galati is the defending SPEED GT race winner (2002) and will shoot for his third overall World Challenge win at Mid-Ohio this weekend. Galati holds the qualifying record for the World Challenge GT Series at Mid-Ohio. He drove an Audi S4 in 2002 for Champion Racing.

World Challenge GT Reigning Champion, Randy Pobst, finished in first position at the previous race at Lime Rock Park just four weeks ago. Pobst set the fastest lap record at Mid-Ohio in the World Challenge GT series in 2002 driving a Porsche 911 Cup.

Randy Pobst (Gainesville, GA). "My whole family, including myself, is from Dayton, Ohio. I won from the pole the first four times I raced at Mid-Ohio in Pro races and that's what I intend to do for Audi Certified Champion Racing. Mid-Ohio is a varied circuit with a lot of quick rises and transitional turns. It has always suited my style well."

Michael Galati (Olmsted, OH). "I love Mid-Ohio. It's such a great track and I've had a lot of success there. We won last time we were there so hopefully we can do it again. It's going to be tough though, with the additional weight but we'll for sure give it our best shot. I'm excited to race there and I look forward to seeing a lot of family and friends who live close by to Mid-Ohio."
