INDIANAPOLIS - Some may think that after clinching the P1 Team and Driver American Le Mans Series Championships with three races left this season, Muscle Milk Pickett Racing would have nothing left to prove. Think again.

The Greg Pickett-led team is still highly motivated as it enters the final three rounds of the season, starting with next weekend's race at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

Pickett Racing, along with drivers Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr, will be looking for a seventh consecutive overall victory this season at the International Sports Car Weekend, which will feature the ALMS cars on track on Saturday, September 21 with the FIA WEC event taking place on Sunday, September 22.

Throughout the season, the team has always given their all in each and every session, no matter who they were facing, and it will be no different at COTA for the two-time P1 Championship winning team as they look to increase their ALMS win total to 20.

Next weekend's event will mark the first time the ALMS will be competing at the 3.4-mile, 20-turn circuit. However, the track is not unknown to the Muscle Milk squad as they had a successful test at COTA back in December with their Honda Performance Development ARX-03c.

The track features flowing curves and a good mix of fast and slow sections but what impressed the Muscle Milk drivers the most in their initial visit was the unique steep hill climb into Turn 1 with 130 foot elevation.

The Pickett Racing team will be skipping the Thursday promoter test and will get to rediscover the track on Friday morning during the first official practice session.

Qualifying will take place Friday afternoon starting at 2:50 pm ET and will be streamed live on ESPN3 from 2:40 pm ET.

The ALMS race at COTA will be streamed live on ESPN3 on Saturday, September 21 from 4:30 pm ET with a tape-delayed broadcast on ESPN2, Sunday, September 22 at 1:00 pm ET.

Klaus Graf - driver #6 Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03c: "With another title in the bag, I'm really looking forward to racing at the Circuit of the Americas. COTA is a state of the art facility and the track layout will be a lot of fun in our Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03c P1 car.

"We tested our new aero package there last year and I was very impressed by the variety and the layout on some of the corners. At first, I couldn't believe how steep that hill up towards turn 1 is.

"It will be interesting to see how this shared event between the ALMS and the WEC will work out in terms of pit layout and paddock space but I'm certain the people from IMSA will make sure that this event is hosted to the standards we've come to expect. "Muscle Milk Pickett Racing should have a great race car at this beautiful venue and we will push hard to win another race."

Lucas Luhr - driver #6 Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03c: "The race weekend at COTA is going to be very cool for sports car fans with the ALMS and the WEC there the same weekend.

"We tested there back in December in our Muscle Milk HPD and I very much enjoyed the track. It will be a fun circuit for these sports cars.

"From a team perspective, I hope that we can continue our winning streak and make it seven in a row for Muscle Milk Pickett Racing. At this point, after clinching our second consecutive Championship, we just want to win as many races as possible."
