Mobil 1 Extends Sebring Sponsorship Through 2006

Fairfax, VA, March 9, 2004 -- ExxonMobil and Sebring International Raceway today announced the extension of Mobil 1's title sponsorship of America's premier sports car race, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, through 2006.

The 52nd Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will take the green flag at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20. This opening race of the 2004 American Le Mans Series will feature a starting field of 50 world-class teams competing in four different classes.

"ExxonMobil is extremely proud to continue the association of Mobil 1 with one of the country's top sports car facilities and one of the most challenging races in all of motorsports," said Pat DiDomenicis, motorsports manager - Americas, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties. "As the world's leading synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1 is known for providing superior protection and performance for all cars, including sports cars that operate under the extreme driving conditions of the Twelve Hours of Sebring."

"Over a span of 52 years, many of the world's finest drivers have competed at Sebring, including Mario Andretti, Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Phil Hill, Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, to name a few," said Sebring Raceway President Tres Stephenson. "The extension of the Mobil 1 title sponsorship reflects their continued confidence in Sebring and the American Le Mans Series as a world-class marketing opportunity."

Gates open for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on Wednesday, March 17, and remain open 24 hours a day through Saturday. For further information, visit www.sebringraceway.com or call 1-800-626-7223.
