HC: 2006 AMA Hillclimb schedule announced

2006 AMA HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (January 25, 2006) -- AMA Pro Racing has released its schedule for the 2006 AMA Hillclimb Championship presented by Pace American. Eight events comprise the 2006 series beginning on June 4 in Jefferson, Penn., and ending on Oct. 8 in Oregonia, Ohio.

This year's All Star Challenge has moved from the Jefferson, Penn., location and will now be held on Aug. 6, in Mt. Garfield, Mich.

Walter "Tiger" Strank is the reigning champion in both the 800cc and 540cc classes and is expected to defend his titles.
