KNUPP EAGER FOR THE TALLADEGA TANGO

Sidney, Ohio, (9/26/05) -- Brandon Knupp, driver of the Mark Knupp Racing #96 Ford Taurus in the ARCA RE/MAX Series is eager to get to the season finale at the Talladega Superspeedway. Back in February at Daytona, Knupp had a good car for the superspeedway race, but some unforeseen problems eliminated his opportunity to run the race and he was forced to watch from pit road.

"We're heading to Talladega, like it was the first race of the season and not the last, we didn't get the chance to run Daytona so we've had plenty of time to get prepared for this one." said Knupp, "We should be pretty good at Talladega, we've got things pretty well prepared for this drafting deal, you know you gotta have a dance partner and I think we can come up with enough friends on the track to do that, at least until the last couple of laps anyway." Brandon added, "I'm really looking forward to this season ending race, Talladega is a fast track and I'm ready."

Brandon Knupp and the MKR Team will have their #96 Ford at Talladega Superspeedway for the ARCA RE/MAX Series season finale on Saturday October 1 for the Food World 300. The green flag is scheduled to fly at 1:05 pm local time. Same day tape delayed coverage is to air on the SPEED channel at 9:30pm et.
