Coming Off His Career First ARCA Win Allgaier to Debut New Car at Milwaukee
Milwaukee, WI (August 24, 2006) -Coming off the first win of his career in the ARCA RE/MAX Series at the Illinois State Fairground in Springfield, Illinois, Justin Allgaier hopes to carry the momentum of the victory to The Milwaukee Mile for the running of the Governor's Cup 200. Allgaier will debut 'Denver', the teams brand new No. 16 Auto Express 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at America's Legendary One Mile Oval.
"It has been an incredible week," Justin Allgaier said. "I am not sure it has sunk in yet. I am just so thankful for this team and for the opportunity to run in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. We are really excited about heading to Milwaukee this weekend and bringing out 'Denver' our 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo. There are all kinds of stories about how this car was named. Some of the crew guys think it is because of the Denver Broncos but it really is because we bought at a race shop in Denver, North Carolina. The Milwaukee Mile was good to me last year; we started seventh and finished sixth so we hope that the new car and the last weeks win will be the beginning of a good run for us."
This will be Allgaier's fourth start at The Mile. He has two previous starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and one start in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. The Governor's Cup 200 is slated to begin Sunday, August 27th at 3:00 pm.
