CONCORD, NC (10-17-06) - BEST FINISH FOR MARKS AND BMR AT IOWA If there is one way to finish out a season on top, Brack Maggard Racing (BMR) knows how to do it. Justin Marks and the #65 Construct Corps Dodge team overcame all of the team changes this year to take home a solid third place finish at the newly constructed Iowa Speedway Sunday, October 15, 2006.

After a disappointing 30th place qualifying effort, Marks was able to move his way to the top ten in a matter of 30 laps. After some aggressive driving, and some impressive pit stops performed by Bobby Hamilton's Craftsman Truck Series team, Marks drove himself into third place and was able to hold the rest of the field off for the best ARCA RE/MAX Series finish of his career.

"That was one heck of a car," Marks said while climbing out of his car. "I am so honored to be driving for Construct Corps and this BMR team. I wanted to prove to everyone how well this BMR team puts these cars together and today it really showed."

"Since I started 30th, I knew I would have to press the issue a little from the start so as not to go a lap down. The leaders were setting a pretty quick pace, but luckily we hit the set-up dead on the nose and the car was perfect."

"Altogether, the weekend went great," crew chief Robby Benton said. "We hadn't tested Iowa, in fact we had never even seen the place, so we came with an open mind. We knew we had no chance of regaining a place in the top ten in points, so we thought it best to just make this our first test session for 2007. We had no expectations other than to get some laps here and have notes to return with next season. We were mediocre in practice. I was trying to figure out what worked and Justin was trying to learn the track. I missed the set-up a little in qualifying and had the car too loose for Justin to drive. I took what we learned in practice and what obviously didn't work in qualifying and came up with what I thought we could race with."

"Being able to compete against the Nextel Cup development teams meant a lot to us. It shows what this team is capable of, but it also shows what ARCA, as a whole, is made of. There are six or seven teams week in and week out, that are capable of competing with those teams and with a lot smaller budget."

With only 3 months off before heading back to Daytona for the 2007 season, Marks and the rest of the BMR crew are full throttle in the shop preparing race cars that will compete for the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship.

"This team has been through so much this past year," Marks said. "With the people that we have now and the dedication they show to this team, I am looking forward to taking what we learned these past six races and use it to position ourselves to be one of the best in ARCA next year."

"We learned a lot about what we need as far as cars go and even more about what we need as a team," Benton said. "We will continue adding the right people to the team and building more of the right cars for Justin. Bob Schacht has been an integral part of our chassis improvements and we appreciate everything he's done to help both myself and this team."

"We hope to take our sponsor, Construct Corps, to victory lane next year and compete for a championship. I think this team is ready and I think Justin has the focus to do it. Consistency is the key to having a good year and that will be my primary focus when Daytona rolls around."
