BUESCHER RETURNS TO ARCA AT KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 6, 2009) -- James Buescher is undefeated.*

Not undefeated in the typical sense, but in his one ARCA start of 2009, Buescher dominated the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, scoring the first win for Win-Tron Racing in over a year.

Now, the newly-engaged (to longtime girlfriend Kris Turner) 19-year-old returns to the track where he made his second career NASCAR start one season ago when he climbs behind the wheel of Win-Tron's No. 32 Wolfpack Rentals entry this Saturday at Kentucky Speedway.

In his first Kentucky outing, Buescher finished 14th on the 1.5-mile oval, driving for Braun Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He'll look to better his career average and keep his undefeated streak going this Saturday night.

If Buescher scores a win Saturday night, he'll join an exclusive list of ARCA Kentucky winners that includes current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman, and Scott Speed and current NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Michael McDowell, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Erik Darnell.

The Buckle Up Kentucky 150 at Kentucky Speedway will start at 8 pm EST on Saturday, May 9. Following the race by listening to the ARCA Racing Network's broadcast of the event on arcaracing.com.

JAMES ON RACING AT KENTUCKY

Your first career start at Kentucky Speedway came in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. How did you like the track and how do you feel you will do on Saturday?

"It's definitely a fun track. When I went there for the Nationwide Series race last year, it was a learning experience but we did really well. For this race, I'm back with the Win-Tron (Racing) guys and I'm excited about the opportunity to get to victory lane for the second-straight ARCA race.

"We came and tested here a week ago and left knowing that we had a lot to work on. Hopefully, we can find something between now and the time the race starts that can give us a better shot at being in contention for the win but Kevin (Cywinski, co-owner) and Mike (Chaffee, crew chief) have been doing this for a long time and having them in my corner, I know I've got a legitimate shot every weekend I'm in the seat."
