ARCA RE/MAX Series Hauler Parade Kicks off Mansfield Race Weekend

TOLEDO, Ohio (June 19, 2009)--The ARCA RE/MAX Series will kick off the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA RE/MAX 200 presented by National Speed Sport News race weekend at Mansfield Motorsports Park-race nine of the 21-race ARCA RE/MAX Series-with a hauler parade beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009.

ARCA RE/MAX Series Race Team Transporters will depart Mansfield Motorsports Park at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 19, travel south on Main Street and turn west on State Route 30 to the Richland Mall in Ontario. They will return to the track via Park Avenue, North Diamond Street and North Main Street as a tribute to the late Tim Richmond, who grew up in nearby Ashland, Ohio. Upon their return to Mansfield Motorsports Park, drivers, crews, officials, dignitaries and race fans that have purchased their tickets to Saturday's race in advance are invited to a 7 p.m. celebration at the track.

Tim Richmond's sister, who will serve as the Grand Marshall for Saturday's Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA RE/MAX 200 presented by National Speed Sport News, will be in attendance during Friday night's fan event. Several show cars will be on display, including Tim Richmond's original No. 25, Bobby Allison's No. 12 1969 Chevelle and Jeff Gordon's show car.

Media and race fans are invited to watch Friday's ARCA RE/MAX Series Hauler Parade from any vantage point along the designated parade route.

Tickets to the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA RE/MAX 200 presented by National Speed Sport News are available at www.mansfieldmotorsportsonline.com or by calling (419) 524-0183 for $20. Tickets purchased the day of race are $25.
