Mattioli to Race #17 Ford for Shriners Hospitals for Children® At Michigan

Bronx, NY (June 8, 2010)^a.Following a strong run by ARCA Rookie of the Year candidate Chase Mattioli in the first part of last Saturday's Messina 200 at Pocono Raceway, Chase, with the support of his marketing partners, wants another shot to bring home the bacon for Shriners Hospital for Children® in his #17 Ford Taurus this Friday's at Michigan International Speedway. Under this program, the Shriners Children's Hospital® will receive $10,000 if Mattioli finishes 10th or higher in Friday's, ARCA Racing for Wild Life 200, with $100,000 annuity coming their way if he wins.

"Although things didn't turn out exactly the way we wanted at Pocono, we definitely showed that we can run up front and hope to be a threat this Friday at Michigan," Chase commented. "I'm a fan of David Ragan and everything that he has done for the Shriners. What make this even sweeter is that I will be driving a Ford, just like David, and a good finish will be my personal salute for all Ford is doing for the economy of the nation and Michigan," Chase commented.

At Pocono last Saturday, Chase started 15th in the 36 car field, moving up to 8th by lap 30. After a routine pit stop on lap 31 the drive shaft failed, putting him out of the race. In the two previous starts, he scored a 12th at Toledo and 13th at Talladega.
