Hickory, NC, 8/7/03 Car troubles have plagued the team the past few trips to Nashville Superspeedway, but Jason Jarrett and the crew of the #67 ML Motorsports Monte Carlo hope to be strumming to the beat of a different tune as they gear up for the running of the ARCA RE/MAX Series Waste Management 200 beginning at 3:00 p.m. Central this Saturday.

An eleventh place finish, after starting 21st, was not the desired result during the spring race at this track. A dead battery was the culprit; the good news being that the team managed to keep Jason on the lead lap while changing it out, and as a result, he wound up with a decent finish.

"We had a good car; with so many caution laps, particularly toward the end of the race, it was difficult to come back and be in a position to win. Hopefully, we'll run good this time around and with the good pit stops our guys consistently give us, we'll end up in front," remarked Jarrett.

"We finished second the first year we drove here, so we should be able to do that again; maybe even get a run on Frank and pick up the win," added Jarrett.

Jarrett continues to hold on to second in ARCA RE/MAX points as the competition remains fierce as the series moves deeper into the second of the season.

The race on the 1.33 mile concrete oval at Nashville Superspeedway can be seen live on Speed Channel beginning at 4:00 p.m. Eastern.

Jason Jarrett is the driver for the #67 Gladiator( GarageWorks / Damon Motorcoach sponsored, ML Motorsports '03 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and is also a member of the Coca-Cola Family of Racing.
