Dexter Bean and #37 Team GLOCK are Ready for the Tricky Triangle

Mooresville, NC (7.30.08) #37 Dexter Bean and Team GLOCK will head to Pocono Raceway for the Pennsylvania 200 this Saturday, August 2 in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. The two day event will take place at Dexter's favorite track and the #37 team is well overdue for a win. Dexter has a strong history of finishes at the Pennsylvania 2.5 mile triangular track with a seventh place earlier this year, a second place last year along with a fourth place finish in 2006 in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

Team GLOCK will be carrying the 030 chassis to Pocono which is the same car they carried in June to the Pocono ARCA 200. Dexter had some tough luck at that event. After practicing fourth, he hit the turn two wall after rd losing control of the Team GLOCK Chevrolet. In the back-up car, Dexter had a tremendous race considering his 33 qualifying placement. The over the wall pit crew had a great evening as well and assisted Dexter in his track positioning. He crossed the finish line in the seventh position.

Dexter is currently ninth in the ARCA RE/MAX driver's point standings and is ready to better that position with a strong finish at Pocono. "Pocono is my favorite track on the schedule. The Team GLOCK Chevy was really good for the spring race, but I let it get away from me in qualifying and we had to pull out the back-up car. This weekend is a big weekend for me going to Pocono. I've always run well there and expect to do the same this weekend. I have a burning desire to win at Pocono!"

Jeff Spraker of Spraker Racing Enterprises adds, "Dexter and I have had a great deal of success together at Pocono and we are looking to continue that trend. Team GLOCK is way overdue for a win and we are going there prepared to achieve that goal!"
