DiCarlo Set for Salem
Akin, IL (September 11, 2008) - With four races left in the season Gabi DiCarlo is not ready for the ARCA/REMAX series to be over just yet. The series sophomore driver is just starting to find the performance that was expected from the team. In a year that has seen major changes to both crew and equipment it looks as if the famous "Chemistry" has found the Great Clips Team. The addition of Crew Chief Randy Nelson and his crew seems to have made all the difference in the world.
"It's too bad the season is coming to an end I truly believe we are a much better team now," said Doug Stringer owner of Stringer Motorsports. "I wish we had more races to prove it"
Gabi will head back to Salem Speedway a track she considers one of her favorites and for the first time this season the team will bring a Toyota Camry to the high banked short track.
"Salem is wild the fans are great, it is always packed, its fast and I have had some of my best runs on this track," says DiCarlo. "It's truly the way racing should be on a Saturday night"
The Great Clips Team will compete in the Eddie Gilstrap Motors 200 by Advance Auto Parts this Saturday evening at 7:15 pm at the Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana.
