"Event Marks First Time Patrick Sheltra Captures Top-Honors"

TALLADEGA, Alabama (April 24, 2009) - - Patrick Sheltra in the No. 60 Buffalo Wings & Rings / BuckedUpApparel.com Dodge Charger posted the fastest time in ARCA RE/MAX Series "Happy Hour" Friday morning setting the tone for this afternoon's ARCA RE/MAX 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Sheltra who emerged as the leader in a seven-car draft whipped his Grace Sheltra owned automobile to a time of 50.725 seconds at 188.783 miles per hour setting the fastest time of 21-cars that participated in practice effort.

It was the first time in his third year of ARCA competition that Sheltra controlled the top-spot in RE/MAX Series competition. Sheltra will be making his third Talladega start and fifth superspeedway appearance overall this afternoon.

"We're tickled to death with the results of the Buffalo Wings & Rings / BuckedUpApparel.com Dodge Charger," said Sheltra. "I believe our car is strong enough to rocket to the front in the race and we plan to stay there."

The current ARCA RE/MAX Series points leader added, "We had several representatives from Buffalo Wings & Rings who experienced their first practice session ever in stock car racing, so to mount the fastest time just made my day that much better."

Sheltra will start 11th in today's ARCA RE/MAX 250, the fourth installment on the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. In last October's ARCA RE/MAX 250 Sheltra led the field with two laps to go before being shuffled out of the draft before recovering to finish fifth.

Today's event will also mark the return of Sheltra on a superspeedway since being involved in a horrendous accident in the ARCA season opener at Daytona International Speedway in February.

MTV's Real World: Brooklyn cast member Scott Herman will be joining the Sheltra Motorsports team on pit road for the 94-lap event today. Herman, the Salem, New Hampshire native is experience his first taste of stock car racing this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.
