BOWSHER CHANGING IT UP AT TOLEDO

5/18/06 - Springfield, OH) - For the first of six ARCA RE/MAX Series events of the 06 season Gordon Food Service/GFS Marketplace joins Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports as their primary sponsor. Safe Auto Insurance will assume the role of associate sponsor for the Hantz Group 200 presented by Federated Car Care this weekend.

Todd Bowsher a native of Springfield, Ohio and full time employee of Gordon Food Service is looking forward to the Toledo event. The .5 mile paved oval that is Toledo Speedway has always created side by side racing action in typical short track style and the Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports Team has always prided themselves on their short track efforts.

"We're all really excited about the "Tag Team" sponsorship scenario. We've got GFS Marketplace for six events as a primary sponsor with the first event for them being this Sunday in Toledo. This is a home state race for us and close to the GFS headquarters in Michigan." Said Bowsher, "There will be numerous GFS employees, customers and fans in the stands at Toledo because of the close proximity and I'm looking forward to seeing them all."

Looking ahead to the Hantz Group 200, the #21 team has reason to be enthusiastic, the last five visits to the Toledo Speedway have produced a couple of Top-10 qualifying runs and a pair of 12th place finishes. In this Sunday's event the Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports Team is looking to put their Ford Taurus into Victory Lane carrying the GFS Marketplace colors.

Activities for the Hantz Group 200 by Federated Car Care at Toledo Speedway gets under way on Saturday, May 20, with practice from 12:30 - 2:00 PM. Pork Pole Qualifying is set to roll off at 3:30 PM. The race is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 21, with a preceding autograph session from 12:00 to 1:15 PM. SPEED will cover the Toledo event and it will be aired with same day tape delayed coverage at 4:30 PM.
