Last race review: Justin Lofton parked his familiar No. 6 Toyota in victory lane last Friday at Chicagoland Speedway, earning his fourth race win of the season. It was Lofton's third win over the last four races. He also reclaimed the points lead with the effort. Teammate Craig Goess nabbed another top 10 on the 1.5-mile track, finishing eighth. Tim George Jr. battled illness and finished a valiant 21st.

Toledo, Take Two: In the spring event at Toledo, Lofton went on to lead a race high 93 laps. He had to pit late in the running to change a tire but charged his way back to a runner-up finish. The tight quarters on the half-mile track left Goess caught in someone else's mess, finishing 14th. George Jr. also battled the competitive traffic and finished 17th.

Meet ESR drivers for a good cause: Fans can meet ESR drivers Lofton and Goess on Thursday, September 3rd at 7 - 9:30 P.M. at the New Glass Bowl Lanes in Toledo. In addition to bowling (at $10. per person) there will also be a raffle and various prizes.

* The event is designed to raise money for ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick of Focus Motorsports Ministries. Krick and his wife Diane travel to each ARCA RE/MAX Series race and provide support to drivers and teams throughout the year. Thursday's bowling tournament will include a raffle featuring various racing memorabilia and other prizes, including a 32 inch HD LCD TV compliments of Aaron's.

Prior to his putting on his bowling shoes, Lofton will also be appearing at the local Valvoline Instant Oil Change from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. Fans who attend the Fan Appreciation Day will also receive half off of all oil changes in addition to free food and prizes. Valvoline Instant Oil Change is located at 3314 Navarre Avenue in Toledo.

What they're saying:

Some drivers prefer intermediate tracks, others superspeedways. But one thing is for sure, all three of Eddie Sharp Racing drivers are excited, or as they say, "looking forward to," returning to the half-mile Toledo Speedway this weekend.

Justin Lofton, driver of the No. 6 Valvoline Instant Oil Change Toyota

"I've been looking forward to getting back to Toledo. Short track racing is fun, it's a good track and I can always depend on Mark Rette my crew chief, and all of the guys on this No. 6 team to give me a fast car. These guys work hard and it's showing."

Craig Goess, driver of the No. 81 Greenville Toyota of N.C. Toyota

"I'm looking forward to getting back there and get the finish we deserve. We got robbed in the last corner on the last lap in somebody else's mess, in something that never should have happened. It should be a good track for us."

Tim George Jr., driver of the No. 2 Ruby Tuesday Toyota

"I am looking forward to going back to Toledo. My father is from Ohio, and not too far from where the track is located. I have been going to this area for a few years, racing at the Mid-Ohio Raceway, but this will be my second time back at Toledo. I ran very competitive lap times there last time, but had some unfortunate circumstances with lapped cars. We look forward to bringing a new car back there and running well this time."
