Both riders will contest ARRC’s Asia Production 250cc category for Honda India-backed Ten 10 Racing squad.

Sethu is a well established name in Indian motorsport, having won the National Pro Stock 165cc championship in 2016. It will be his second consecutive season in the AP250 class after he made his debut last year.

Shetty is new to ARRC but has proven himself in the domestic racing scene, having clinched the Honda One-make 150cc title in 2016.

As of now, Sethu and Shetty are the only two Indian riders confirmed to race in ARRC this year. Sarath Kumar, who has been racing in the series’ flagship Supersport 600cc category for the last two seasons, was notably absent from this year’s entry list.

The 2018 ARRC season gets underway at Thailand’s Buriram Circuit on the weekend of March 2-4. The Indian round of the championship will take place at Madras Motor Race Track from August 3-5.
