Craft Racing will run the Murphy Prototypes Oreca Nissan LM P2 car for the final Asian Le Mans Series event to be held at the Sepang F1 circuit on December 5-8th. China's Pu Jun Jin and Ireland's Dan Polley have been named as two of the three drivers for the LM P2. In addition Craft Racing has entered a second Aston Martin in the GTC class to run alongside their #007 Aston Martin Vantage.

The LM P2 entry will cement the team’s plans for drivers in the Asian region to be able to move up the motorsport ladder with the same organization. Young drivers can race in the highly successful junior driver development formula, Formula Masters China, and then progress through LM PC to LM P2 in Asian Le Mans. The team also competes in the GTC class of Asian Le Mans together with a program of long distance events such as the Dubai 24 Hours and Sepang 12 Hours.

Craft Racing Team Principal, Mark Goddard, states “This is an exciting step for the team and I am sure we can take the fight to the established Asian Le Mans LM P2 teams. Our engineer ran an LM P2 at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours and the team are multiple F3 champions therefore we are well practiced at running high downforce sophisticated cars. Murphy Prototypes will also provide some technical assistance and I have to thank Greg Murphy for helping make this happen. We are happy Pu Jun Jin and Dan Polley will be driving for us and we are currently in talks with several drivers to fill the final remaining seat. ” Craft Racing's #007 Aston Martin Vantage is currently 2nd in the Team Championship and will be looking to win an invitation to the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans in Sepang.
