PAUL TRACY, #26 Team KOOL Green Honda/Reynard/Firestone: (4th in the PPG Cup standings with 122 points)

"I had a chance to visit the Chicago track and look around.I think it's a beautiful track. It is really wide and I think it's going to be great to run on. Plus, Chicago is a fantastic city, not to mention a great sports town, and we're going to put on a great show there. In terms of how important the race is going to be, our performance is critical from here on out. We're doing what we need to do to get to the championship and that's score points. To get back on a short oval is going to be important for us. I think we have a good set up on the KOOL car to perform well. Tony [Cicale] and I have a better understanding of the car and the whole team is looking for another good, strong finish. If we could win that would be great. But another good strong finish is critical for the results we need toward the championship."

DARIO FRANCHITTI , #27 Team KOOL Green Honda/Reynard/Firestone: (1st in the PPG Cup standings with 151 points)

"I'm really looking forward to visiting the new Chicago Motor Speedway. By all accounts, Chip Ganassi and his people in Chicago have done a magnificent job with the facility. The track is smooth, wide and should be conducive to plenty of passing and some great racing. Kind of like Milwaukee - only better. We've had good results this year on the short ovals, we just need a bit of luck on the #27 Team KOOL Green car."

PPG-Dayton Indy Lights Championship

Jonny Kane, #27 Team KOOL Green Lola T97/20: (9th in standings with 50 points)

"Team KOOL Green is making its way to the podium nearly every weekend with the Champ Cars, so I was glad to make my contribution in Indy Lights at my last race in Detroit (Kane finished 3rd). It's nice to have some stronger results later in the season. Our group is definitely riding some momentum at the moment, which will ideally carry over into Chicago. As it's an inaugural event, I'm glad to say that everybody will be starting out on an equal-footing this weekend. Another podium would be nice and a victory even nicer, but my focus now is on the rookie points battle. I've caught Scott Dixon for top rookie (50 points each) and now it's a matter of finishing the season ahead of him."

KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship

ALEX GURNEY, #27 Team KOOL Green Toyota/Swift: (12th in standings with 24 points)

"We haven't been on an oval since Milwaukee but we've improved the car across the board since then, so I feel really good going into Chicago. The car is better now and it's a new track for everyone.so that's good. I feel like things are starting to come together and click a bit better for Team KOOL Green now. Everyone on the team is feeling more comfortable with one another. We just need to get the job done and hopefully improve upon my season-best finish (5th in Montreal)."
