Coronas And Figueroa Participate In The Test Day For The CART Toyota Atlantic Series

Scuadra Fortia drivers Eduardo Figueroa and Waldemar Coronas participate in the Test Day for the CART Toyota Atlantic Series in preparation for this Sunday's race at Fundidora Park, in Monterrey, Mexico.

Waldemar Coronas, car #88 Scuadra Fortia: "In this practice session I had two runs and I am happy with the car, despite feeling that we can improve it for tomorrow (Friday), because the track is very slippery and we need to change into a setting that suits us better under these conditions. I did well and I think we can do it better. We will prepare ourselves for Saturday to give a good performance for the race."

Eduardo Figueroa, car # 86 Scuadra Fortia: "We've got lost with the setting. I feel that the car was very stiff in the front and developed understeer. I've tried to take advantage of the track time that I had to learn the track, instead of trying to set good times. We've tried two different settings, but it worked better Waldemar's. Tonight I will work on the data system to see where we can improve our performance in order to go faster tomorrow (Friday)."
