FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MEDIA ADVISORY - - May 16, 1997

REVISED RESULTS FROM LONG BEACH

The results of round two in the 1997 KOOL/TOYOTA Atlantic Championship from the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach have been revised to show DAVID CUTLER, driver of the No. 26 Microsoft/Wall Data Ralt RT-41, being credited with one additional lap and moving from 21st to 16th place. This affects the finishing order for positions 16 through 21 with those drivers moving down one position.

A time penalty has been assessed to MICHAEL SIMPSON, driver of the No. 59 Maaco Autobody Swift DB-4, for passing during a yellow flag. Simpson drops one position from 19th to 20th place. DAN VOSLOO, driver of the Danvo Machining Reynard 93H, improves from 20th to 19th.

Score one additional lap for JOHN BROOKS, driver of the No. 12 Drive-4-Life Racing/Port-A-Cool Ralt RT-40. The record reflects that Brooks completed 28 laps, but he does not improve his position from 22nd.

Next on the racing calendar for the 12-race 1997 KOOL/TOYOTA Atlantic Championship, sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing, is round four at the Milwaukee Mile on May 31.
