Edwards on Front Row, Wickens on Row Six for Road America Atlantic Finale
ELKHART LAKE, Wisconsin -- Saturday, August 11, 2007 -- The most spectacular natural terrain road course in North America will host the final round of the 2007 Atlantic season on Sunday as stars of the most competitive development series in the world fight for the final podium of the year. For Red Bull Team Forsythe drivers John Edwards and Robert Wickens, Sunday's race is another opportunity to demonstrate they have earned the right to join the elite ranks of motorsport stars that make up the storied 34-year history of the Champ Car Atlantic Championship.
Wickens, currently third in the overall point standings and second in Rookie of the Year points behind experienced GP2 and F3 veteran Franck Perera, will have to battle his way to the front after balance difficulties in today's final round of Qualifying left the Toronto teenager 11th quickest in the 24-car field. Edwards, who sits ninth in the overall points and fifth in Rookie of the Year standings, will enjoy his best starting position of the year as he joins Perera on the front row after becoming the youngest driver in Atlantic history to earn a Provisional Pole at the tender age of 16. The driver from Little Rock, Arkansas set a new track record on Friday and locked up a front row starting spot.

"We had the luxury of a guaranteed front row start after taking provisional pole yesterday so today we were able to take some risks with the setup. It didn't pan out and I wasn't able to go any faster, but the guys have given me a very fast race car and we should be able to finish the season strongly. I'm really looking forward to the race!"
Robert Wickens
"We missed on the setup a bit and I had a lot of oversteer that we just couldn't seem to dial out of the car. I wasn't confident in the corners and that made it tough to post a good lap. We made some improvements but on my quickest lap right at the end I had to dodge another car and lost a lap that probably would have moved me up a few spots. But we've had good speed all weekend and I'm confident I'll be able to move up!"
