Open-wheel auto racing team RuSPORT is pleased to announce today that the organization will be making its new home in the city of Denver.

Currently located in Loveland, Colorado, RuSPORT is making a clear mark on the Toyota Atlantic Series in just its first year, garnering a rookie-record 6 wins and 17 top ten finishes in just 10 races.

The team is looking to clinch the championship this weekend and place both drivers 1-2 in the Rookie of the Year category with drivers A.J. Allmendinger and Aaron Justus. Now, as the team looks to the future, Denver will play a key role in RuSPORT's expanding endeavors.

After an extensive search of major metropolitan areas, RuSPORT found that Denver offered the ideal circumstances for the organization's growth into becoming the most competitive open-wheel team in motorsports.

"We looked at many cities and found that Denver offers the best tangible business and economic benefits for RuSPORT to develop and succeed," said team owner Carl Russo. "Denver is a city with a focus on the future and we see ourselves as part of that future."

RuSPORT currently has 24 employees but plans to grow its staff significantly, drawing on the considerable resources Denver has to offer.

"With a world-class airport and a central location," said team president Jeremy Dale, "not only did Denver make the most sense for our team's needs but also offers a high quality of life, resources, and opportunities for our employees' families and spouses. We're really enthusiastic about our new home and look forward to building a real relationship with the Denver community."

RuSPORT is considering both Centennial Airport and Jefferson County Airport areas for site locations for a move in 2004.
