Player's Forsythe Teammates Lee Bentham and Alex Tagliani Claim Top Two Spots in Friday's Provisional Qualifying at Toronto

TORONTO, Ont. - Lee Bentham of nearby Richmond Hill will start on the provisional pole for Saturday's KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship race at the Molson Indy Toronto.

Bentham, who won at Montreal earlier this year, posted a time of 1:07.877 around the 1.721-mile temporary street circuit. Bentham's teammate, Alex Tagliani, of Lachenaie, Que., will start alongside Bentham on the front row with a provisional time of 1:07.991. Rino Mastronardi, in just his second Atlantic event, will start third with a time of 1:08.203. Points leader Memo Gidley posted the seventh-fastest time in the provisional qualifying session that was slowed significantly due to three red-flag sessions. Saturday's round seven of the KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
