The Auto GP team selection process has come to an end. Following the great interest for the championship, resulting in lots of teams intending to field the cars, the organization decided to select 11 outfits, basing his choice on the team's skills and expertise as announced last October while presenting the championship.

The list includes teams from Italy, France, United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Spain, mixing top-notch teams, at the higher levels of motorsport throughout the years, with younger outfits that already showed the ability to match up the high requirements of a series fielding a 550 bhp car. Here are the selected teams:
