ADM drivers strong in qualifying for season opener

ADM Motorsport drivers Norbert Siedler, Fausto Ippoliti and Stefano Attianese ended up 1st, 3rd and 12th in todays qualifying for the 3000 Pro Series season opener at Vallelunga respectively. Under mixed and damp conditions the 22-year-old Austrian secured his 6th Pole in F3000 but was forced to give a 100 percent to keep the gab to the two local heroes Massimiliano Busnelli and Fausto Ippoliti.

Renato Melchioretto (Team Principal) "This was very good start into the season for us, but even more important is the fact that the management and the teams of 3000 Pro Series are working together to built up and strong European F3000 Championship. The thrill of Formula 3000 is still there and for the next race in Imola it is very likely that we have at least 18 cars on the grid. Congratulations to Norbert for another Pole Position. He was the quickest driver in the championship in 2004 and it seems that has not changed over the winter."

Fausto Ippoliti (Car Nr.6, P3 1:08.488 min) "I am quite happy with this result considering it is the first race and we have a long championship ahead of us. My car was perfect and the team worked really well but to be honest, I don't like these damp conditions. I prefer either rain or try weather but, as said before, the result is o.k. for me. "

Norbert Siedler (Car Nr.7, P1 1:07.461 min) "Being so close to compete in Champ Cars I would still prefer to be in Long Beach in this moment, but on the other hand side I have become part of ADM and enjoy every day I work together with them. I know what I have to do this year and therefore this was an important first step."

Stefano Attianese (Car. Nr.8, P12 1:12.890 min) "It was my second day in the car, so I can be really happy with my performance. Thanks to my team that has always been calm and very professional I was able to improve from lap to lap. My goal for tomorrow is to finish the race because this would be another valuable experience."
