EU3000: Draco Junior Team Monza preview

Next week-end the four round of Superfund-Euro3000 Championship takes place in Monza : while mechanics, engineers and all the Draco staff work to get ready the last details, we have a chat with the Toucan drivers, to know better these promising boys. This time we don't ask questions about car, opponents or Championship, but a friendly interview to entertain the drivers before this challenging week-end.

Here is our short interview :

- What music do you like best ?

Nicky Pastorelli : I like all the music, I haven't a favourite singer or band.

Fausto Ippoliti : I like italian music, but I listen everything.

- Before the race, do you make something for luck?

N.P. : No, just few minutes alone to concentrate.

F.I. : No, I don't believe in "ritual"or lucky charms.

- When starts your passion for motorsport ?

N.P. : Since my childhood, because my father have a car work-shop. When I was ten, I ask to my father to try the go-kart, and from that day I never stop .

F.I. : Me too.I start with go-kart when I was ten, I ask to my parents to continue this sport, and now I'm here.

- What do you make during the free time?

N.P. : I like to ride a bike and , naturally, the go-kart.

F.I. : I like all the sports, but my favourite is the ski.

- Do you like football ?

N.P. : Of course! I like italian football, Milan and Juventus especially.

F.I. : I don't support a team particularly, only the National Italian Team, but now ..let's drop it!!!

- What peculiarities does he have as a professional driver ?

N.P. : Brains and sangfroid ! It's impossible to be a good driver without!

F.I. : Of course to be fast! It's important to know the car,to be good tester and, naturally , to have head .

- To be a professional driver implies to live away from home and family. It's difficult to conciliate work and private life?

N.P. : It's not a problem, I always made this life, it's normal for me.

F.I. : I think it's possible to have a good career and to be present for the family. I aim the quality, not the quantity!!

- What country do you like best and why?

N.P. : I love Italy. I like the food, the people and the history.

F.I. : I like Spain,maybe because it's similar to Italy, by traditions and uses.

- The italian food, you know, is fantastic, but you need to be in good form. Do you have to be on a hard diet??

N.P. : No, I can eat everything, but little helpings. And no greasy!!

F.I. : I like to cure my body, It's not a problem the diet. One day of the week I can eat what I want.free lunch!!
