Another podium for Team Draco and Farfus, 8th Heidfeld who suffered understeering

Team Draco added another podium to the one achieved last 04th May at Nurburgring. On the French track of Magny-Cours Adriano and Nadia Morini's team, together with its Brazilian driver Augusto Farfus Junior, ended the 36 laps in a strong 3rd place behind Bruni and Grassotto. The team mate German Sven Heidfeld finished a difficult race in 8th position, close to the point zone.

The brilliant start of Bruni surprised the poleman Farfus who lost the first position but was able to manage second's one lapping in fast times. Followed by Grassotto, Augusto tried his best to gain some tenths on him but begun to suffer an understeering that made to him difficult to catch Bruni. In the final lap Traini Corse's driver entered in touch with Augusto, pushed him out of the trajectory and overtook Draco's driver. The German Sven Heidfeld, at his first year in F.3000 category, crossed the chequered flag in 8th position after suffering understeering on his Lola since the green lights. With today podium Augusto and Team Draco gain 4 more points to be added at the Team and Driver's standings.

Sven Heidfeld (car #8) -- P8

"Today race was very demanding and difficult for me. For all the 36 laps I suffered understeering on my Draco and when I tried to push my car became heavy to drive. We do not understand what can be happened during the race, because it was good during the weekend race. As soon as we come back to Pontremoli, me and my engineer will analyse the data".

Augusto Farfus Junior (car #7) -- P3

"I did not have a good start and I vanished my hope for the win. When I saw Bruni in front of me I pushed as much as I could, but I was feeling that my car was suffering understeering and was terrible to drive. Then, in the last lap, Grassotto pushed me out of my line and overtook me. Anyway 4 more points are good for the Championship and I'm confident for the next race".

Race results: G.Bruni - M.Grassotto - A.Farfus -- R.Rusinov -- N.Pastorelli -- C.Brown - "Babalus" -- S.Heidfeld -- F.Del Monte - P.Boss -- M.Pavlovic -- R.Sperafico -- M.Carli /Non class.: P.Biglieri -- J.Nelson

Drivers standings: Bruni 20ps -- Farfus 10ps - Grassotto 10ps -- Rusinov 4ps - "Babablus" 3ps -- Boss 2ps -- Pastorelii 2ps -- Brown 1p
