Five Euroseries 3000 drivers in GP2

After Tuka Rocha signing as official driver of Team Brazil in A1 Grand Prix and Juan Caceres moving to Dale Coyne Team in Champ Car, now it's time for GP2 to open its doors.

Giving a look to the provisional entry list of the GP2 tests which will take place in Le Castellet on October, 3 and 4, as much as 5 of the protagonists of this year Euroseries 3000 will take part. And some other could join.

The Russian Vitaly Petrov, winner of the last Euroseries race in Barcellona, after having taken part to the last rounds of the GP2 series with DPR, will test both with Art and Super Nova.

It will be instead the first time for Tuka Rocha (Piquet Sports), Marco Bonanomi (Durango), Roldan Rodriguez (Campos) and Gavin Cronje (Dams).

Moreover, also Luca Filippi, 2005 F.3000 Champion and already protagonist in GP2 will also take part to the test.

None of the other preparatory series has so many of its current drivers participating in this test: of the other 10 rookies, 4 come from F3 Euroseries, 3 from F3 UK, 2 from World Series Renault and 1 from Formula BMW UK.

Thanks to the car peculiarities, the week-end schedule, the circuits visited and the security standards, which all reflect the GP2 features, the Euroseries 3000 confirms itself as one of the best training for all the young drivers who aim to be racing proffesionist.

Coloni Motorsport, organizer of the Euroseries 3000, is glad that so many of the drivers participating in the Championship, will have this opportunity and will keep for sure an eye on their debut.
