EU3000: Series champ David Rigon earns GP2 test

GP2 TEST FOR DAVIDE RIGON AS PRICE FOR THE F.3000 TITLE JUST SECURED IN MONZA

The young Italian will take part to Le Castellet test with Fisichella Motor Sport International

Davide Rigon, after been crowned both Italian and European F.3000 champion last week-end in Monza, is now ready to take the wheel of a GP2 car, the price assigned to the Series winner.

Therefore, even before the last F.3000 round on November 11th at Barcelona, Rigon will take part to the next GP2 test session scheduled from October 30th to November 2nd at Paul Ricard. For this reason Rigon, who has also earned the F1 super licence thanks to the F.3000 title, visited yesterday Fisichella Motor Sport International in order to make the seat and become confident with the team.

Davide Rigon: "I am really happy for this important chance I will have thanks to the F.3000 success and therefore I would like to thank Coloni Motorsport, organizer of the Series. I'm very confident for the test".
