2004,february 19 - Yesterday, February 18th , Draco Junior Team was engaged in the first test of 2004 with the new official sponsor Superfund-Euro3000.
During the morning all the Draco Team began a full day on Vairano circuit to test the cars with the new drivers Nicky Pastorelli e Fausto Ippoliti.
The young Dutch driver Pastorelli demonstrated his desire to begin the work immediately : "Finally we are on track!-he commented - I was tired to wait! The first "tasting" as Draco driver has been excellent. Vairano is a track suitable to make technical test, and I think we made a good work today. At the beginning the track was dirty, but we worked well. We personalized the car, and now, we are ready to test on "racing"-tracks, but it's important to work here for the opportunity to experiment with the one- seaters.I work very well with my engineer Andrea and the two mechanics, I'm really satisfied!".
Also Ippoliti committed himself hard with engineers and mechanics, in a work atmosphere of collaboration:"What I can say more? Nicky took the words out of my mouth! We work well together. Today we testing also two seats to choose the best and, with my engineer Giorgio, we working with my car. Today I really could see the work method of Draco J. Team and its team spirit. I have seen union and collaboration, and I feel good with the staff. This morning it was cold and humid, we left early Pontremoli , at nine o' clock we worked, but the real test started at ten o' clock."
Towards evening we let our drivers go, tired but proud for their work, with their new suits that Puma has designed only for them. They come to Pontremoli, because tomorrow they'll busy in a technical meeting and in the training.
At the end of the day we can speak with Adriano Morini about the next season: "We have interesting news about the next championship : the february 12 we was in Monaco for the meeting with Superfund's staff. Early we'll know which TV'll broadcast the races. Moreover, if all the Team'll agree, it'll be possible to offer the Hospitality service, with a Vip and a staff area. The calendar is definitive, we can't race in Bahrain because the circuit isn't ready. About my drivers I don't speak, we'll see in the first common test. We thinking, with the other team, to go in Valencia or Pannonia very soon."
