BONANOMI IS THE FASTEST IN THE FIRST FREE PRACTICE SESSION IN VALLELUNGA
Today at 2:30 pm the Euroseries 3000 by PartyPoker Racing started its roman weekend. The first of the two free practice sessions saw the drivers getting on track to find the first benchmarks, especially the ones who never raced there before. Rodolfo Gonzalez, Will Bratt and Juan Carlos Sistos took some time to become familiar with the "Autodromo Piero Taruffi" and also Ben Hanley had to learn again a track on wich he raced only in 2004. Fabrizio Crestani, instead, needed no time to find the right pace. He was immediately able to clinch a 1'28" despite a dirty and gripless track, improving quickly until 1'25"856. Anyway, this wasn't enough to beat Marco Bonanomi. The Fisichella Motorsport International driver was immediately at ease and after some changes to the rear end setup he stopped the clock on the time of 1'25"708.
Behind this duo there was Will Bratt, already quick on a track that's completely new to him, Ben Hanley and Fabio Onidi, unhappy about his car's settings.
Closing the pack Gonzalez, who spun once, a careful Juan Carlos Sistos and Francesco Dracone.
