SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Cindy Rowe Auto Glass has been named the title sponsor of the 2002 Sprint Car point fund at Selinsgrove Speedway, it was announced by track officials at the annual awards banquet Saturday evening at the Harrisburg-Hershey Marriott.

"We're pleased to be a part of Selinsgrove Speedway's renewed commitment to present a quality show to race fans," said David Taylor, Secretary/Treasurer of C. Rowe's Inc. "The 358 Sprint Cars have been growing in popularity and have put on some very exciting shows at Selinsgrove and other area tracks."

The sponsorship announcement falls on the heels of the recent new Cindy Rowe Auto Glass store opening on Routes 11 & 15 in Selinsgrove.

"We enjoyed a successful first season with the 358 Sprint Cars as our headline division," said Selinsgrove Speedway co-promoter Charlie Paige. "We're excited to have a first-class company like Cindy Rowe Auto Glass come on-board as a major sponsor this early in our program."

The 2002 season opener for the Cindy Rowe Auto Glass Sprint Cars at Selinsgrove Speedway is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 at 6 p.m.

"We recently visited the track during the off season and have seen the many facility renovations that are taking place there," Taylor commented. "There's a lot of work going into the track and the weekly racing programs. Our sponsorship involvement is our way of supporting the track and multiple race teams."

Cindy Rowe Auto Glass will also be a primary sponsor of Pack The Track Night II on Saturday, April 27, which will feature free general admission for race fans for the second year in a row. Last year's promotion drew a record crowd to the Snyder County motorsports facility.

Cindy Rowe Auto Glass was founded in 1980 in Harrisburg as C. Rowe's Windshield Repair by Cindy Rowe. The company has expanded to nine locations and offers professional services for windshield replacement, auto glass replacement, sunroof sales and installation, slider sales and installation, and other auto glass related product sales and installation.

Selinsgrove Speedway is the third area race track which Cindy Rowe Auto Glass is the title point fund sponsor of the headline Sprint Car division.

Cindy Rowe store locations are also in Mechanicsburg, Lebanon, Lancaster, Hanover, Ephrata, York and Reading.
