Nazareth, PA - August 2, 2001 Dana Landry has been named Director of Public Relations for Nazareth Speedway, Nazareth, Pa. Craig Rust, President and General Manager, Nazareth Speedway made the announcement.
Landry, who begins his duties on Aug. 6, was previously Manager of Communications for TNN: The National Network. He was responsible for developing national media campaigns for the cable network's popular motorsports programs and for all public relations efforts for motorsports.
"We are excited that Dana Landry has joined the Nazareth Speedway staff as Director of Public Relations," said Craig Rust. "He has impressive credentials and will be a great addition to a strong, dedicated team as we continue to build on the great racing tradition at Nazareth Speedway."
Prior to joining TNN in April 1999, Landry served as Account Executive and Public Relations Manager for the NAPA racing program at Champion Sports Group, Charlotte, N.C. Previously, he worked for KEL Racing, a NASCAR Busch Series organization, as Team Manager and Manager, Public Relations for driver Jason Keller.
Landry is a graduate of New Hampshire College in Manchester, N.H.
Nazareth Speedway hosts the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series' Chevy Silverado 200 and the NASCAR Busch North Series, Sunday, August 26, 2001. Tickets are available by calling the Nazareth Speedway ticket office at 888/629-RACE (7223).
