The new Porsche 911 GT3 has arrived and I've submitted an order for one! Armed with a 4.0l flat-six that revs up to 9,000rpm producing 500hp, it can be had with either the 7-speed PDK or a 6-speed manual gearbox. We also take a look at the new Panamera Sport Turismo and the regular Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid at the 2017 Geneva Motorshow.

At this stage allocations have not been done so I don't know if I'll be lucky enough to add a new GT3 to the garage but prior to selling my Cayman GT4 I put in my request and application with a hope of it being my next Porsche. In any case, the car would not arrive for at least a year but I will be sure to let you know the outcome.

It's amusing timing as the vote for the car I will purchase this month has the 911 GTS out in the lead but now you know why I won't be buying one at this time with hopes of a GT3 on the horizon!

Thanks for watching, Tim
