Double Pole for Rapid Estonian

Hitech Racing's Marko Asmer will start Round 4 of the 2007 Lloyds TSB Insurance British F3 International Series from pole position, completing the double in his Mercedes powered Dallara. Stephen Jelley (#1 Raikkonen Robertson Racing Dallara F307 Mercedes HWA) will also start from the front row for the second time, losing out to Asmer by just 7 hundredths of a second.

Row 2 will be headed by Round 1 race winner Maro Engel, just ahead of his Carlin teammate Alberto Valerio, who responded positively after losing his qualifying times in the first qualifying session for a yellow flag transgression.

Roles were reversed in the National Class with Sergio Perez (#31 TSport Dallara F304 Mugen Honda) turning the tables on race one pole sitter Michael Meadows (#55 Master Motorsport Dallara F304 Mugen Honda). Current National Class points leader Frankie Cheng could only manage 3rd fastest, four tenths ahead of Alex Waters and Sean Petterson.

The top 12 drivers were covered by less than a second but all of the 32 drivers will know that it will be crucial to make up as many places at the start due to the difficulty in overtaking at Donington Park in an F3 car.
