Matt Kuhne starting 23rd on the grid of the British 125 GP championship in round 1 at Brands Hatch. Matt had a terrible start in the race and dropped 10 places off the start due to the clutch starting to slip. Matt had managed to get back 9 places by the end of lap 1. Matt continued to push throughout the race and finished 14th overall after the scheduled 24 lap race was red flagged due to a crash in the 21st lap. The race was declared and Matt ended up setting his fastest time of the weekend with a 50.488 on the last lap. With this being Matt's first visit to the Brands Hatch Circuit he had a lot to learn
Matt would like to thank all those who helped out over the weekend and to all his sponsors and the team (Team Hammercrete / UK Racing)
