EMC to Handle Media Relations For Hydros and Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour

(Lake Hamilton, Fla.) - HYDRO-PROP, Inc. announced today that Event Management Corp. (EMC) will provide all strategic communication services for the 2001 Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series Presented by Laughlin and the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour Presented by Bud Light. EMC, which has provided media relation services to Hydros sponsors, drivers and teams since 1975, will direct communications with targeted print, Internet, television and radio media outlets.

"We are extremely excited to have Event Management join the HYDRO-PROP team," said Bart Garbrecht, CEO of HYDRO-PROP. "Our relationship with Event Management is another example of our commitment to growing Hydros and Formula One. Event Management has been actively involved with Unlimited Hydroplane Racing for a number of years and we look forward to utilizing their experience in helping us expand our media coverage."

Based in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., EMC is a strategic planning and marketing communications company with extensive background in the motorsports and automotive industries. Current EMC clients include Michelin North America, Pacific Raceways, Anheuser-Busch and the North American International Auto Show.
