Anheuser-Busch and Laughlin, Nevada to Sponsor Hydros and Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour
(Lake Hamilton, Fla.) - HYDRO-PROP, Inc. announced today that Anheuser-Busch and the Laughlin Visitors Bureau will sponsor both the Hydros and the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tours for the 2001 race season. HYDRO-PROP has also secured a number of additional sponsors for both race series.
For the second consecutive year, the Budweiser brand from Anheuser-Busch will be the title sponsor for the Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series. In addition, the Bud Light brand will be the presenting sponsor for the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour and the O'Doul's brand will sponsor the Hydros Year-End High Points fund.
"We are very excited to have Anheuser-Busch continue their involvement with Hydros and the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour," said Bart Garbrecht, CEO of HYDRO-PROP. "Anheuser-Busch has been actively involved in Hydros for more than thirty-eight years and we are delighted to have them on board once again."
The Laughlin Visitors Bureau, a division of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, will be the title sponsor of the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour for the third consecutive year. In addition, Laughlin, Nevada will be the presenting sponsor for the Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series for 2001.
"Laughlin, Nevada has been instrumental in the development of Formula One over the past two years," continued Garbrecht. "We are very grateful for Laughlin's support, and we're looking forward to the start of both the Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Series Presented by Laughlin and the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour Presented by Bud Light. This will be a very exciting race season."
HYDRO-PROP has also secured sponsorships with a number of corporations for both the Hydros and Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour including, Alamo (Official Car Rental Company), Hot Boat Magazine (Official Magazine), Racing Communications (Official Radio), Powerboat Racing Rescue (Official Rescue Team), Thunderduck Inflatables (Official Rescue Boat), Polaris (Official Rescue Personal Watercraft), Yamaha Outboards (Official Rescue Engine), Prevost by Entertainment Coaches of America (Official Coach) and Motor Racing Outreach (Official Motorsports Ministry Service).
The Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour will also have support from Telmex as an Associate Sponsor for the 2001 season. In addition, VP Fuels (Official Fuel) and Amsoil (Official Two-Cycle Oil) will sponsor The Year-End High Point Fund for the series.
