TELMEX, the Mexican telecommunications firm known worldwide as a leader in it's industry is pleased to announce it's sponsorship of the FORMULA ONE P.R.O.P. TOUR, the most versatile, fastest accelerating and fastest turning boats in the world.

The P.R.O.P. TOUR will be an excellent showcase for the innovation and technology that has become a trademark of TELMEX in recent years. In announcing the sponsorship arrangement, TELMEX officials cited the close and exciting racing combined with the high level of the technology and skill in Formula one racing as prime factors in their attraction to the series. In addition to their support of the series, TELMEX also sponsors the race team of the Mexican driver Carlos Kuri who will again be competing in all races of the series for the 2001 season and would like to congratulate Carlos for his 1999 "Rookie of the year" honors and his 7th place points finish in the 2000 season.

"TELMEX brings to the P.R.O.P. Tour another level of high technology as we move into the seventh season of the Formula One series. We are excited about their involvement with the tour and proud to have Carlos Kuri back on board as a competitor for his third season. Carlos has been a huge asset to our tour as we continue to expand to new levels," said Bart Garbrecht, President of the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour.
