Fine outlook for Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship

The opening round of the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship will be the first to benefit from a bespoke weather forecasting service from Meteorological Services.

The company has created a website specifically for the championship and is offering dedicated weather forecasts in the week immediately preceding each of the six rounds centred on the events’ Rally HQ town.

As the week preceding the rally progresses, the reports are refined so that teams, organisers and spectators can plan for the weather they might encounter, particularly important for crews on the three asphalt events where tyre choice is critical.

The basic online report covers the whole week with in-detail reports for Friday and Saturday of rally weekend. The forecast area extends around the host town by forty miles, encompassing the majority of stages on all six events with a written description accompanying specific information including air temperature, wind speed and direction and the all important chance of precipitation.
