Burns tops Sony/Volkswagen British Rally Driver Rankings

Richard Burns has overtaken Colin McRae as Britain's top rally driver. The Sony/Volkswagen British Rally Driver Rankings - published today (Weds) - place the 27-year- old World Championship contender at number one following his strong showing in last month's Rally of Spain.

Colin McRae slips one place, to second, with British Championship leader Martin Rowe ranked third, one place ahead of Colin's younger brother, Volkswagen team member Alister McRae.
