Harris ready for Wales Rally GB

Mike Harris Junior and co-driver Josh O'Connor have pronounced themselves ready for next weekends Wales Rally GB after conducting a short but productive acclimatization run on the recent Tempest Rally. The pair will compete on the National section of this world famous rally at the wheel of a platepledge.co.uk supported Citroen C2.

Mike and Josh will use the very same MH Motorsport clubman spec Citroen that they used to take a class win on the recent Neath Stage but admit that they will be hard pressed to repeat that giant killing act this weekend. The pair will face stiff competition from a number of higher specification Super 1600 machinery when the National Rally begins from Builth Wells on Saturday 13 November.

MH Motorsport have built us a great little pocket rocket here but we only have a fraction of the horsepower of our class rivals. Even so we aim to go out and have fun and maybe even do a bit of giant killing. The stages are some of the best in the country and it will be a great honour to compete on the same event as the likes of Solberg and Loeb!

The Wales Rally GB National event runs between the two passes of the International section on both Saturday and Sunday. The competitors will get to compete on such famous stages as Radnor, Crychan and Halfway on Saturday, as well as Resolfen and Margam on Sunday before a ceremonial finish in Cardiff on Sunday afternoon.
