Meredith ready for first ever World Rally.
Dolgellau resident David Meredith is looking forward to contesting his first ever World Rally when he takes to the start of Wales Rally GB in Cardiff on Thursday 29th November 2007.
David, the reigning 'stars' British Rally Champion, has been campaigning a Revolution Wheels supported Mitsubishi Evo 9 in the British Rally Championship this year, experiencing quite a mixed season. Despite some character building problems on a couple of rounds David is very happy with how his first ever season in a 4 wheel drive has progressed.
2007 has been a massive learning year but I'm pleased with how I have developed as a driver. This is my first ever world rally and as a result I have no idea what to expect. I have been practicing making my own notes all year but a 3 day rally straight after a 2 day recce will be quite challenging.
David, who is co driven by Dai Roberts, will begin preparations for Wales Rally GB with a 2 day recce before taking to the ceremonial start in Cardiff on Thursday 29th November 2007 for the three day rally.
